The frame is thicker, the gearing is stronger and the drag is doubled. The HXJ Raptor puts out 40 lbs. of drag at strike and 50 lbs. at full. Fill this reel with braid and you will be able to land very large fish! The HXJ Raptor also features a much improved lever drag system that is smoother than the standard one you find on Avet Reels. It also has built-in magnetic cast control to help you make long accurate casts. The 2-speed mechanism gives you the flexibility to fish in situations where you need a high gear ratio or a low gear ratio, or both.
