It is a beefed up 2-speed MXJ with MC Cast (magnetic cast control) built in and gets an awesome 26 lbs max drag from a dual drag system! This small reel is extremely powerful and versatile! Fill it with braided fishing line and it makes a great inshore and offshore reel. If you’ve fished an MXJ before, expect a better experience with the Raptor version as Avet has incorporated a much better lever drag system. It is easier to use and is much smoother.
