The microscopic pores of a GORE-TEX membrane are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, making GORE-TEX garments impenetrable to water from the outside. Those same pores are 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule, which means they allow sweat vapor to escape to the surface of the shell to keep you dry from the inside out. 100% Waterproof & Windproof.
